These drummers in Times Square attracted a large crowd, mostly tourists, with their constant beats and motion. People spontaneously jumped onto the wall to wave the American flag, or grabbed some sticks to join in the drumming, or just danced. There was no hat being passed, no money being requested.
Just another evening in New York City.
